When playing Dofus, you need to look into the character options available to you. This will help you understand what character to choose, what abilities your character has and how to use that character to the best of its ability. If you’re just starting in the game, you may not know much about your character or the different choices you have. A little background research into the Dofus races, classes, and more will help you get the most from your character.

You Dofus avatar is the look of the character that you’re playing. It is the in-game representation of you, the player. The great thing about your avatar is that when you first create it, you have the options to customize it how you want. You can choose from the options given to create a customized Dofus avatar to represent you.

Your Dofus character is how you will play within the game. When creating your character, you can also choose your color which affects the way you will appear on the screen. Color does not affect you in any other way. Next, you will choose your character name. Be sure to follow the rules when making your Dofus character name or you will be forced to change it.

Each of the Dofus classes is associated with a race and also a deity connected to that race which gives it their powers and abilities. When you first begin the game, you will see that each Dofus race has a quest to begin and earn experience as well as help them learn more about their abilities and powers.

There are twelve Dofus classes to choose from when you make your character. Which class you choose will make a difference in your abilities, the gear you can wear and weapons you can equip and the types of spells and abilities you will get later on as you level up. Of the available classes, below is a description of what they are.

Dofus Cra is an archer class and is famous for using long bows and arrow attacks. The Dofus Ecaflip is a gambler class and uses attacks that can be either beneficial or harmful to himself. If you like to play a healer that can also deal out buffs and damage, you will enjoy the Dofus Eniripsa. Enutrof is a hunter class with many supportive abilities.

Dofus Feca is a defensive caster with many shields that reduce damage and the Dofus Iop is your Paladin class. The Iop can deal great deals of damage and also provide ally buffs. The Dofus Osamodas is a summoner class that can summon all types of various monsters which can fight along side them.

Dofus Sadida is an invoker class. This is a race of tree people who can conjure plants and voodoo dolls to attack for them. There is great fun in this class. The Dofus Xelor is a denial attacker. Basically they counter attacks and reduce the AP of the attacker. They are very beneficial in groups.

Dofus Pandawa is only available to people with a pay to play version of the game but is a very popular class. The Pandawa is a boozer class and is a race of Panda people who love to drink. This is a great deal of fun.

If you are having trouble deciding among the classes, you can feel free to choose more than one character to play. This gives you the ability to play more than one Dofus class and check them out to see which ones you like best. Most players have one character which they call their “main” and may have other Dofus characters which are referred to as “alts”.
